This one’s gotta BURN!
Speaking at a rally in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, President Trump targeted Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who rose in the polls, quipping, “1,024th. That means I have more Indian blood than she does, and I have none.”
Trump pointed out that he had plenty of tales to tell Democrats targeting, but he saved them for the campaign, but he noted that Warren had already lacerated over her Native American ancestry allegations.
I could tell you stories, but I’m going to save them for the campaign, because, to be honest, this is a little earlier than the campaign. Wait until this campaign starts… you know, like I was telling Brad, and I was telling a few of the folks, one thing I don’t want to do … I’m telling them, I don’t want to do this too early. I don’t want to do it. you know, the Pocahontas thing, I did that; it was before its time. Right? It was before its time. Too early. 1,024th. That means I have more Indian blood than she does, and I have none, unfortunately. I’d like to say I have a lot. Get me another 4%, maybe another 10%. But I was early with her, and frankly —
Trump paused and then continued, “Oh, it’s coming back; don’t worry about it,” causing the crowd to laugh.
Trump offered Warren a million bucks in July 2018 if she took a DNA test to prove her Native American ancestry allegations. He spoke in Montana, saying:
I shouldn’t tell you because I like to not give away secrets. But let’s say I’m debating Pocahontas. I promise you I’ll do this: I will take, you know those little kits they sell on television… learn your heritage! A guy says he was born in Scotland, turns out he was born in Puerto Rico, that’s okay, that’s good, you know. A guy ways he was born in Germany, he was born someplace else.
And in the middle of the debate, when she proclaims that she is of Indian heritage because her mother said she has high cheek bones, that is her only evidence, her mother said we have high cheek bones, we will take that little kit — but we have to do it gently. Because we’re in the #MeToo generation, we have to do it gently. And we will very gently take that kit, and slowly toss it, hoping it doesn’t injure her arm, and we will say: I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian.
Warren, desperate to protect herself, took a DNA test after Trump questioned her Native American ancestry allegations. Then Warren published her DNA test outcomes.
The results prompted Rush Limbaugh to laugh, “[O]nly a Democrat, folks, would think their report from a scientist saying that she might be one 1/1024th Indian would make their claim of minority status valid, One 1/1024th Indian. Elizabeth Warren possibly. That would be 0.09%. That’s not even 1/10th of 1%, folks. That’s how little Indian heritage Fauxcahontas has. Now, scientists say that the average European American is 0.18% Native American, 0.18%. She is 0.09! She is less Native American than the average European American is. These are New York Times numbers, by the way. Elizabeth Warren less Native American than the average European American.”
